1. ABC Interactive Book
This takes you to a digital ABC Interactive Book about cells. It is based off Ohio's New Learning Standards for 6th grade science. It focuses on cellular to multicelluar vocabulary with definitions, pictures and videos.
2. ABCYA
Enjoy reading while playing games! This has reading and math games for grades PreK-5. There are a variety of games to choose from and you can pick what topic you want to work on.
3. Khan Academy
There are tons of videos that give instructions on any subject. This is for any grade level. There are a lot of math topics, but there are also grammar lessons as well.
4. Mr. Nussbaum's Educational Games
This website has a ton of games for students. There are games for all grades and most subjects. There are free games to choose from and there is also a subscription part for a minimal fee to get more.
5. Learning Games
This website has a variety of educational games. The games range from different subject areas and grade levels. There are many for younger students. In addition to the games, there are videos and lessons you can navigate through.
6. Starfall
This website is best for younger students. It builds on the alphabet, phonics and the fundamentals of reading. There are different stages on the website from ABC's to reading on your own. This site also has a part you can purchase and get more games.
7. Storynory
This website has a large amount of stories to pick from to read. You can read the story on your own or you can click play and have it read to you. There is a wide range of topics from reading about a little dog to reading poetry.
8. Oxford Owl
You have to register for this website, but it is free. It gives you access to 250 books. There are videos and tips about reading and math. If your school is not using it, be sure to sign up via for use at home.
9. Storyline
This website has many popular children's books that are read aloud by authors and celebrities. You just click on the story you want read to you. Each book is about 5 minutes long and the reader also shows you the book as they are reading.
10. Reading Bear
This is for younger children (grades PreK-2). It has 50 videos for students to watch and practices phonics. This website is completely free and also offers a lot of vocabulary practice.
